Altunay pursued her higher education at Ege University, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Psychological Counseling and Guidance. Driven by her passion for Human Resources, she furthered her academic journey by earning a master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Career Counseling from Ankara University.
Between 2008 and 2011, after serving as an Education Consultant and Global Relations Coordinator, Rabia Altunay made a strategic transition to specialize in IT recruitment. In this capacity, she assumed roles as an HR & IT Recruitment Consultant within major multinational corporations such as Logo Software, Yaşar Holding, Vestel, Avandel Salesforce, and Asseco SEE. Leveraging her expertise in both human resources and the IT sector, she played a pivotal role in sourcing top-tier IT talent, facilitating seamless recruitment processes, and contributing to the success of these renowned organizations.
In 2017, Rabia Altunay successfully completed the global competency exam conducted by LinkedIn, earning the prestigious title of “LinkedIn Certified Professional”. Inspired by her achievement and driven by her passion for IT recruitment, she founded Recruit IT within the same year. This initiative marked a significant milestone in her career, enabling her to further leverage her expertise and provide specialized recruitment solutions to business partners in the IT sector.
